Polydioxanone (PDO) Thread Lift

Thread Lift is a treatment that tightens sagging skin tissues with the use of Polydioxanone (PDO) threads. PDO is a suture that stimulates collagen production and plumps the skin as dermal fillers do. The procedure involves two main functions: to lift sagging skin and stimulate collagen synthesis. These threads become absorbable from four to six months and hold from eight to 12 months. Local anesthesia is given, but it may cause some discomfort and other unpleasant sensations at the start of the process and after the procedure when the anesthesia dissolves. Women with menstruation should also plan accordingly.

To see the best results wait for four to six months which can last from 12 to 24 months (then you can repeat the treatment).
